May has been another busy month both in the workshop and on site.
First was a large pine dresser, featuring cupboards with soft close doors it was finished with Polyvine Wax Finish varnish which both gives a fantastic finish and is environmentally friendly. The top half locks on securely but is easily lifted off when needed thanks to the use of button fix fasteners.
Next was an en-suite bathroom renovation. This involved boxing in the toilet cistern and sink with painted matchboard cladding and a solid oak top as well as building a matching wall cabinet.
Another job which has finally been completed is a small canopy porch, this one has been on going for quite a long time due to supply issues with the roof tiles so it was good to finally get it done. Smaller jobs included a wooden plinth to hide some pipework under a sink and some replacement doors for an existing cabinet.
